Program

The Raid des Alizés – Martinique will gather 225 adventurers at from the 5th to the 10th of December 2023.

Participants from France will be welcomed Wednesday morning at Paris-Orly airport to go to Martinique international airport Aimé Césaire where they will meet their West Indian friends after a nine hours flight.

When they will be together, the competitors will be carried to their base camp where they will receive their pack. Next day, they will enjoy a day night to acclimatize and discover the environment before starting the trials the next day.

From Thursday to Saturday, the most important part will be the competition. Next to classic trials from adventure races universe (mountain bike, canoe, running, etc.), teams will discover a lot of surprising activities inspired by values of the Raid des Alizés - Martinique : surpassing oneself, respect for nature, sharing and solidarity. The activities and the process will be discovered by participants at the last moment to keep mystery and surprise present during the whole adventure.

During these three days, the competitors will compete in natural and protected environments all around the island. The base camp will be moved every day according to stages. Every night, the participants will discover and share the Martiniquan culture and re-energize themselves before the activities of the next day.

After the final trials on Saturday, the teams will gather for the award ceremony in a high-class holiday club where they will spend their last night and their last day. It will be a relaxing break well deserved for our adventurers before they travel back.
